Any good organic acne treatments/preventions?

I have adult acne. I use ProActive but I feel like it is too harsh and it just pushes zits back under the surface.

Any good organic acne treatments/preventions?
I suggest you to go for natural one; others definitely have side effects. A good face pack of neem leaves with a pinch of turmeric is also very good for acne prone skin. More home remedies available at http://www.wellnesstalk.org/acne.html

mainly I can tell you ONLY what I have personally seen in fact.
Reply:I too used ProActiv and it was very harsh and dried out my face. It got to be red tight and peeling, so I quit using it after about three days. The type of skin care product you need to use heavily depends on your skin type. If you dont know how to determine your type, simply spalsh your face with lukewarm water a few times, wait 15 minutes without moisturizing, and rate how tight your face feels. 10 being dry, 1 being oily. If you seem to break out no matter what you use, your skin is probably sensitive AND dry, like mine.

I use Cetaphil Daily Cream cleanser. A cream type cleanser is easier on your face than a foaming one if its sensitive. Cetaphil really does work, Ive tried almost anything, including ordering dumb products off of TV. If it gets too dry, only try washing your face in the shower once a dry, keep your face washing to a minimum to prevent even more dryness.

Research Cetaphil, see what you find. Good luck.
Reply:You could try a product called Black Velvet Face Wash. It's all-natural and they say it doesn't dry out your skin, although I found that it did, but not as much as other face cleansers.

I'd also suggest doing an internal cleanse. The skin is a secondary excretion system. Thus, if you liver is clogged up with toxins, your body will de-tox thru the skin, which could cause acne.

A mild internal cleanse is Alka Cleanse: http://mortersupplements.com/alkacleanse...

It takes 3 weeks. I've used both of these products and have noticed a difference in my complexion.

I've also heard that anger can cause acne. Something about the hormones released, so you might wanna see if there's anything your bottling up that you can let go of.

Best of luck.
Reply:Arbonne. Go to www.Arbonne.com and click "shop online". I use their products and they are great!
Reply:Miessence has a good organic line for skin care. They are the highest rated for organic and they come from Australia. They have some reps in the states just check under mionegroup.com and search for a rep.

If you are looking to do it yourself. Use a french green clay mask or a simple cleanser with a peppermint base to clear the excess sebum. Then moisturize with Avocado and olive oil, they both are non comedogenic oils. Dab some Tea trea extract over the sites that are imflamed. Tea tree oil in a natural antibacterial.

There is a diffence between Organic and all natural so if you are specifying organic it has to be at least made with 70% pure organic ingredients by government standards.

Arbonne is not certified Organic nor do they use organic products. Their acne key ingredient is the same as proactive. Salacylic acid.
Reply:I have a great all natural skin care system that I use. It is from a Japanese company. I love it, they have a cleansing system and an amazing mask. go to www.nikken.com/bliss. It is under the nutrition products. The other thing that they have is an amazing water system. It really helps your skin as well by balancing the PH of your body. I hope this helps!
