I still get whiteheads & acne after I use benzoyl proxide & salicylic acid. What cheap OTC product will work?

I'm renz, 37 yrs. old guy from Philippines and my adult acne keeps coming back and I also have oily skin, especially in the forehead and cheek areas. Are there any inexpensive OTC drugs or products that will work for my whiteheads and pimples, and that have no side-effects? Also, what other inexpensive OTC products that will safely peel or remove acne scars without any side effects?

god, don't use toothpaste

I'm 26 and I use ANCE FREE from Walmart. Buy the whole kit and the acne terminator gel. It's the only thing that has worked for me. DON"T DO TOOTHPASTE, esp. if you have acne, it will only aggrevate the skin.

Neutrogena makes an acne fading mask that also works

for redness use visine to take the red out. MAKES SENSE
Reply:Toothpaste!! Not the gel kind the old fashion toothpaste, put it on and sleep with it there you will be amazed at the results.
Reply:Boil and mash plums to get the pulp. Add a teaspoon of almond

oil, and apply on the face. Mix lemon juice, rose water and glycerin in equal quantities. Apply daily before retiring to bed. These are very good to remove scars. There are more such remedies at http://useinfo-acne.blogspot.com/
Reply:For use on your body in the shower try Neutrogena's Body Clear Body Scrub on neck, chest and shoulders in the shower. Do NOT buy toners or anything else with alcohol as one of the first ingredients. Alcohol strips your face and that causes your pores to create more oil. I use Aqua Glycolic facial cleanser twice a day (start at once a day, then go to twice after a few days). You massage it on dry skin, let it sit for 5 minutes or until it stings, then rinse off. Do not use on wet skin as that will change the pH and pH is critical to effectiveness of glycolic acids. I follow it with a salicylic acid product called Neutrogena Rapid Clear. I use Neutrogena Age Shield sunblock but since your skin is oily you might want to use the Dry Touch formula. There are no OTC peels that will remove or reduce the effects of scars - you need to talk to a dermatologist on that one.
